அயோத்தி. பெயரை கேட்டாலே ஒரு வித பரபரப்பு ஒரு காலத்தில் ( 1992 ).. தற்பொழுது அதே விதமான பரபரப்பு...

என் தந்தை கூறியது போல, தீர்ப்பு ஹிந்துக்களுக்கு சாதகமா அமையும் என எதிர்பார்கிறேன்.  நம் சமுதாயம் உணர்வுகளுக்கு மிக அதிக  மதிப்பு அளிக்கிறது.  சுமார் இரண்டு வருடங்களுக்கு முன்பு நான் அயோத்திய சென்று வந்தேன். மிக சிறிய ஊர். எந்த வித அடிப்படை வசதி இல்லாமல் உள்ள ஊர். இப்படி இருந்தாலும்,கான்பூர் உடன் ஒப்பிட்டு பார்கையில் நகரம் மிக சுத்தமாக உள்ளது. திரும்பிய பக்கம் எல்லாம் சின்ன சின்ன கோவில்கள், எல்லாம் சிதில் அடைந்த நிலையில். மொத்தத்தில் ஒரு ஆன்மிக நகரம். 

நான் யாருனே தெரியாத ஊரில் இரண்டு நிமிட தொலைபேசி பேச்சுக்கு ( என் தந்தையின் ) எனக்கு  மற்றும் என் நண்பர்கள் இரண்டு பேருக்கும் சாப்பாடும் போட்டு கோவில்கள் அனைத்தையும் சுற்றி காண்பித்த அனைவரயும் நினைவு கூர்வதில் பெருமை படுகிறேன்.  அந்த அழகான சரயு நதி ஓரம் நாங்கள் சிறு பிள்ளை போல் கால் நனைத்து விளையாடியது  இன்னும் நினைவில் உள்ளது

ராமர் கோவிலுக்கு நாங்கள் சென்ற பொழுது ஒரு சின்ன பேனா கூட கொண்டு போக விடவில்லை. சுமார் முன்னூறு காவலர்கள் பாதுகாப்புக்கு இருந்தார்கள். நான் இது போல ஒரு பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் சோதனையை இதற்க்கு முன் பார்த்தது இல்லை.ராமர் சிலை வைத்து தான் அங்கு  பூஜிக்க படுகிறது. அதற்கான காரணத்தை  பற்றி நான் எழுத ஆரம்பித்தால் ஒரு மதத்தை பற்றியே குறை கூறும் வாய்ப்பு அதிகம். அதனால் தவிர்த்து விடுகிறேன்.

இதோ,அயோத்தி குறித்த அலாகாபாத் உயர் நீதிமன்றத் தீர்ப்பு 24-ம் தேதி வருவதை ஒட்டி நாடு முழுவதும் பலவித சிந்தனைகள். மையப் புள்ளியான அயோத்தி எப்படித் தயாராகிறது? 

அயோத்தி நகரம் அமைந்துள்ள உத்தரப் பிரதேச மாநிலம், உச்சகட்டப் பதற்றத்தில் இருப்பதில் வியப்பு இல்லை. மாநிலத்தில் உள்ள அனைத்து மாவட்டங்களிலும் 144 தடை உத்தரவு பிறப்பிக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளது. இதைத் தொடர்ந்து பொதுக் கூட்டம் மற்றும் பேரணி உள்ளிட்ட மக்கள் கூடும் நிகழ்ச்சிகளுக்கு தடை விதிக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளது. தீர்ப்பு தங்களுக்கு சாதகமாக இல்லை என்று சொல்லி போராட்டத்தில் ஈடுபடுவது யாராக இருந் தாலும், அவர்களை ஒடுக்க, அதிக அளவிலான லத்திக் கம்புகளை வாங்கிக் குவித்துள்ளது மாநில அரசு. இதுவரை இல்லாத அளவுக்கு ரூ. 72.5 கோடிக்கு லத்திக் கம்புகளை வாங்கி உள்ளனராம். 50 கோடி ரூபாய் மதிப்புக்கான கம்புகள் மாநிலக் காவல் துறைக்கும், 16 கோடி மதிப்பில் ஹோம் கார்டுக்கும், 6.5 கோடி அளவில் பிராந்திய ரக்ஷா தளக் காவலர்களுக்கும் அளிக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளன. தவிர, காவலர்களுக்குத் தேவையான ஹெல்மெட், முகம் - உடல் கவசங்களும் புதிதாக நிறையவே வாங்கப்பட்டன. 

'பாதுகாப்பு ஏற்பாடுகளில் துளிக் கவனக் குறைவும் வந்துவிடக் கூடாது' என்று போலீஸ் அதிகாரிகள் கடுமையாக எச்சரிக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளனர். அயோத்தி, ஃபரிதாபாத் மற்றும் லக்னோவின் பல்வேறு இடங்களில், மத்திய துணை ராணுவப் படை அடையாள அணிவகுப்பு நடத்தியது. மேலும், பல கம்பெனி துணை ராணுவப் படைகளை அனுப்பிவைக்கும்படி, மத்திய அரசிடம் கேட்டுள்ளது உ.பி. அரசு. கிட்டத்தட்ட, 630 கம்பெனி துணை ராணுவப் படைகளைக் கேட்டுள்ளதாம். இதைத் தொடர்ந்து 40 கம்பெனி மத்திய துணை ராணுவப் படையினரும், 12 கம்பெனி 'ராப்பிட் ஆக்ஷன்' படையினரும் வந்துவிட்டனர். மேலும், 23-ம் தேதிக்கு முன்னதாக, 150 கம்பெனி மத்திய துணை ராணுவப் படையினர் அனுப்பிவைக்கப்படுவார்கள் என்று மத்திய அரசு உறுதி அளித்துள்ளது. 

மக்கள் மத்தியில் சகோதரத்துவத்தை வளர்க்கும் வகையில், விழிப்பு உணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சிகளிலும் இறங்கிவிட்டது உ.பி. அரசு. 'லக்னோ, அயோத்தி உள்ளிட்ட பகுதிகளில் இரு தரப்பினரும் கலந்தே வாழ்வதால், தீர்ப்பு எப்படி இருந்தாலும் அமைதி காக்க வேண்டும்' என்று இரு தரப்புப் பெரியவர்களும் வலியுறுத்தி வருகின்றனர். தீர்ப்பை ஒட்டி சர்வ சமயப் பிரார்த்தனைகள் நடந்துவருகின்றன. இந்தக் கூட்டங்களில் ஒற்றுமை, அமைதியை வலியுறுத்தி அனைத்து சமயப் பெரியவர்களும் பேசி வருகின்றனர். மக்களும் அமைதி வேண்டிப் பிரார்த்தனையில் ஈடுபட்டு வருகின்றனர்.

Post-doc & Ph.D positions...

Post-doctoral position at Univ. Pittsburgh: soft tissue Buckling

A post-doctoral position is available in the lab of Sachin Velankar at the University of Pittsburgh to conduct experimental research on buckling of soft tissues in cephalopods (octopus or cuttlefish).

A portion of this research - in collaboration with Prof. Roger Hanlon of Marine Biological Laboratory, Woods Hole, MA - will involve measuring mechanical properties of cephalopod tissues.  Accordingly, experimental expertise with mechanical characterization of tissues, and background knowledge of tissue mechanics is critical.  A portion of the work will use synthetic soft materials such as elastomers or hydrogels.  Experience with making and photopatterning such materials is desirable although not critical.  Finally, since we will be examining buckling phenomena, a famialirity with the basics of buckling in a civil/mechanical engineering context is desirable but not critical.

This fellowship is funded by a grant from the U.S. Air Force.  The post-doctoral fellow will have substantial independence in pursuing his/her own research ideas, and this fellowship would be an excellent platform to launch their own independent career.  This project offers are also opportunities to collaborate with an expert on numerical simulation.  A commitment of roughly 1.5 years is expected, although a somewhat shorter or longer period can be considered.

The influence of microstructure on wave and front propagation through heterogeneous media

Two PhD studentships of three years duration are available Department of Civil and Structural Engineering and the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield sponsored by the Leverhulme Trust. The studentship will fully cover University tuition fees at EU/UK level, provide a tax-free bursary of £13290. Closing date for applications is the 24th September 2010.

The project

You will be supervised by a team based at the University of Sheffield including Prof. Harm Askes, Dr. Terry Bennett and Dr. Inna Gitman, but will work with a wider group of academics including Dr William Parnell in Manchester and three other PhD students on the Leverhulme Trust funded project entitled “The influence of microstructure on wave and front propagation through heterogeneous media”

Inhomogeneous materials (whose properties vary as a function of space) are ubiquitous in the world around us. Understanding their material behaviour in a dynamic context is important for many applications in which materials are subjected to complicated dynamic loadings. This understanding can be exploited to control the dynamic properties of materials, e.g. the design of so-called ``stop bands'' (bands of frequencies that are not able to propagate through a material or structure) and the way that fronts propagate through materials.

The role of microstructure is central to the dynamic performance of the material. All materials possess some kind of microstructure (i.e. crystals in metals, fibres in natural materials such as timber and bone, or the laminae of layered composites), and the particular material properties of the constituents as well as their geometric arrangement are important aspects that determine how the material behaves.

This projects will focus on developing numerical models for front and wave propagation through inhomogeneous media. Project 1 will in particular be specifically  interested in how the dispersion and dissipation of the idealized wave depends upon the microstructure and way in which this is distributed. Multi-physics effects such as thermo-elasticity will be considered in project 2. These numerical models will then be compared with analytical models developed by the team based at the University of Manchester.

Key Responsibilities, Accountabilities or Duties:   

The project will involve developing hybrid analytical/numerical models for front propagation through inhomogeneous materials and interacting with the team at the University of Manchester who will be developing  analytical models of similar physical situations. The successful applicant will work in a team of researchers including other research students at the University of Sheffield  together with the team based at the University of Manchester. Monthly meetings either in Manchester or Sheffield will be held to assess progress.
The appointed individual will be expected to carry out the appropriate research on front propagation, as directed by the team of Prof. Askes, Dr. Gitman and Dr Bennett and this will include writing scientific articles when appropriate. The appointee will also be expected to present work both within the department, externally and perhaps to industrial partners.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

It is essential that the individual appointed should:

• have or be in the process of completing a undergraduate degree in engineering, applied mathematics, physics, or relevant discipline at the level of at least upper second class honours
• have the potential to conduct high quality computational research;
• have a strong background in engineering / mathematics at undergraduate level, with relevant computer programming experience.
• have a strong interest in engineering / mathematics with an eagerness to learn and develop new methodologies and techniques, both theoretical and computational;
• have a willingness to work within a team;
• have a willingness to disseminate the research via the writing of scientific articles and conference participation
• have excellent communication and organizational skills.

PhD position at the University of Virginia

A PhD position in the area of mechanics of heterogeneous materials is open in the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department at the University of Virgina. 

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and computational skills, as well as an MS degree in a related field. A TOEFEL score of 90 plus is required for admission into the SEAS PhD Program at the University of Virginia in the case of international student applicants. PhD position - Modelling of confinement and interfacial effects in small scale plasticity

The project is based on the well-known size effect exhibited by metals, i.e the fact that their strengths are greatly enhanced when at least one microstructural lengthscale is scaled down to the nanometer range or when the size of the object is restricted to the micron or sub-micron range. At these scales the interfaces and their associated properties play a significant role. This project will focus on the effect of spatial confinement on the three most common deformation mechanisms: dislocation glide, mechanical twinning and mechanically-induced martensitic phase transformations; and will be based on the synergies between physically-based phenomenological modelling using strain-gradient plasticity at the highest scale, and thorough experimental characterisation of the micro and nano-mechanics of model materials and systems. The general aim of the work is to enrich the existing phenomenological models with a physically-based description of the confinement conditions and their evolutions.

These will be determined experimentally on a number of model systems exhibiting various deformation mechanisms and diffrents properties of the interfaces present within the structure. More particularly, the computational development will be structured as follows:

- Selection and development of a crystal plasticity framework able to incorporate size effects,
- Development of a framework for modelling various types of plastic confinement conditions
- Application to several model problems for dislocation glide (with interactions with experimental teams)
- Extensions to twinning and martentitic transformations 

ULB (Université Libre de Bruxelles) is a full university. The project will be carried out within its Faculty of Applied Sciences (Engineering Faculty) as a joint project between experimental and computational teams. The computational developments will be performed within the Structural and Materials Computational 

Mechanics Group of the BATir
Department. The group currently consists of 3 full-time professors, 5 post-doctoral fellows and 10 PhD students; all active in Computational Mechanics fields. இந்த படத்திற்கு விமர்சனம் எழுதுவதா வேண்டாமா என்று ரொம்ப நாள் யோசித்து சரி எழுதலாம் என்று நினைத்தேன் இன்று. நல்ல கதை, மற்றும் நல்ல படத்தை மட்டுமே பார்பேன் என சொல்ல்பவர்கள் அடுத்து வரும்  புகைபடத்தை பார்த்து இதற்க்கு மேல் படிக்காமல் செல்லவும்.

 

 

உயிர்,  மிருகம் என இரண்டு அதிரடி திரை படத்தை தந்த மிரட்டல் இயக்குனர் சாமியின் முன்றாவது திரை காவியம் சிந்து சமவெளி. இவர் இயக்கம் படம் வந்த உடன் அந்த படத்தின் மீது சர்ச்சையும் சேர்த்து வந்து அந்த படத்தை மக்களிடம் கொண்டு சேர்ந்து விடும். இந்த படத்தில் நடந்தது அதுவே..

 

பொதுவாகவே நடக்கும் கள்ள உறவை பற்றிய கதை களம். ராணுவத்தில் வேலைபார்க்கும் கணவன். கிராமத்தில் அடக்கமான ஆசிரியை. ப்ளஸ் டூவில் முதல் மாணவனாக வரும்அவர்களின் பையன். அந்த ஸ்கூலில் படிக்கும் சக வகுப்பு தோழி யை காதலிக்கும் பையன். ஒரு சிறு விபத்தில் அவனின் தந்தை சொந்த ஊர்க்கு விருப்ப ஒய்வு வங்கி கொண்டு வருகிறார். அந்த சமயத்தில் அவனின் தாய் பாம்பு கடித்து இறந்து போகிறார். இந்த சமயத்தில் அவனின் தந்தைக்கு கலீல் அடிபட்டு போகிறது. குடும்பத்தை கவனிக்க ஒரு பொண்ணு வேணும் என்று தான் மகனுக்கு அவன் விரும்பிய பொன்னை திருமணம் செய்து வைக்கிறார். அன்னையின் விருப்பம் போல் ஆசிரியர் பயிற்சி வகுப்பில் சேர்கிறார். 

 

அவனுடைய இளம் மனைவி வீட்டில் மாமனாருடன் தனித்து இருக்கிறாள். சில சூழ்நிலைகளும்,குடித்த மயக்கமும் அவர்களை நெருக்கமாக்குகின்றன. முதலில் போதை தெளிந்ததும் வருந்துகிறார் மாமனார்.  இதன் பிறகு நடக்கும் விஷயங்கள் அத விட அதிர்ச்சி. மருமகளே ஒரு கட்டத்தின் மாமனாருடன் உறவு கொள்ள, ஒரு கட்டத்தில் இருவரும் கணவன் மனைவியாகவே வாழ மகன் திரும்பும் போது அவனுக்கு சந்தேகம் வருகிறது.  பிறகு என்ன ஆனது என்பதுதான் கதை.

 

தினமும் தினசரிகளில் நாம் பார்க்கிற  முறை தவறுகிற உறவுகளை பற்றியும் நாம் படிக்கும், நடக்கும் விஷயங்களை தான். ஆனால், அதை சொன்ன விதம் தான் சரி இல்லை.

எங்கோ -எப்போதோ இம்மாதிரியான நிகழ்வுகள் நடந்திருக்கலாம். ஏற்கனவே ஜெயகாந்தனின் - சிலநேரங்களில் சில மனிதர்களில் வரும் கதாநாயகி இதே மாதிரி விபத்து மாதிரி நடக்கும் பாலியல் அனுபவத்தை எதிர்ப்பின்றி ஏற்கிறாள் என்பதை அன்றே குறினார். அதனை திரையில் பார்க்கும் போது மனது பதறுகிறது.

வட இந்தியாவிலும் இது போன்ற படங்கள் வெளிவந்திருக்கின்றன. ஆனால் நம் மக்கள் இங்கு இதனை ஒத்து கொள்ள மாட்டார்கள்..இவர்கள் செய்யும் சர்சையே படத்தை வெற்றி பெற உதவுகிறது.

கலாசார கொலைகள் - ஒரு பார்வை

கலாசாரத்தை சீரழிக்கும் வகையில், தமிழகத்தில் அடுத்தடுத்து அரங்கேறி வரும் கள்ளக்காதல் மற்றும் செக்ஸ் கொலைகளால் அனைத்து தரப்பட்ட மக்களும் அதிர்ச்சி அடைந்துள்ளனர். மூன்றரை ஆண்டுகளில் 890 கொலைகள் நடந்துள்ளன. பொதுவாகவே இதுபோல கொலைகள் வட மாநிலங்களில் நடக்கும். ஆனால், இது தற்பொழுது நம் தமிழகத்தையும் எட்டி உள்ளது.

பழமை வாய்ந்த நம் கலாசாரத்தில், காலத்திற்கேற்ப சில மாற்றங்கள் ஏற்பட்டு, தற்போது மேற்கத்திய கலாசாரம் பல தரப்பினரையும் ஆட்டிப் படைத்து வருகிறது. இதன் காரணமாக, ஒருவனுக்கு ஒருத்தி என்ற கோட்பாடு சில சமூக அக்கறையற்ற சக்திகளால் சீர்குலைக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. சங்க காலத்திலேயே காதல் இருந்தாலும், அதில் கண்ணியம் இருந்தது. தற்போது காதல் விவகாரம், கொலை செய்யும் அளவிற்கு விபரீதமாகிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது. காதலுக்கு தடைபோடும் பெற்றோர், கவுரவக் கொலை என்ற பெயரில் குற்றவாளிகளாக மாறி வருகின்றனர். ஆண்டுதோறும் கள்ளக்காதல் மற்றும் செக்ஸ் தொடர்பான கொலைகளின் எண்ணிக்கை, "ஜெட்' வேகத்தில் உயர்ந்து வருகிறது. கலாசார சீரழிவிற்கு சினிமாவும், "டிவி' சீரியல்களும் ஒரு புறம் தூபம் போட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன.  

நல்ல விஷயங்களை கொண்ட சினிமாக்களும், சீரியல்களும் வந்தாலும், வன்முறை, "செக்ஸ்' வக்கிரங்கள், கள்ளக்காதல் விஷயங்கள், சமூக ஒழுங்கீனங்களை சித்தரிக்கும் சினிமாக்களும், சீரியல்களும் அதிகளவில் வந்து கொண்டுதான் இருக்கின்றன. ஒரு ஆணும், பெண்ணும் காதலிக்கும்போது ஜாதி, மத பேதங்கள் இருக்காது. காதல் வீட்டிற்கு தெரியும் போது, அனைத்தும் தடைக்கற்களாக வந்து நிற்கின்றன. இதை உடைத்தெறிந்து சிலர் மட்டுமே வெற்றி பெறுகின்றனர். தோல்வியடைவோரில் சிலர் யதார்த்தத்தை உணர்ந்து மாறினாலும், சிலர் உயிரை மாய்த்துக் கொள்ளும் அளவுக்கு சென்று விடுகின்றனர். இதில் தற்போது புதிதாக "கவுரவக்' கொலைகளும் சேர்ந்துள்ளன. அங்கொன்றும் இங்கொன்றுமாக இருந்த இந்த கொலை சம்பவங்கள், தற்போது தமிழகத்தில் தொடர்கதையாகிவிட்டன.  

காதலித்ததால் தன் மகளை கூலிப்படையை வைத்து, விஷஊசி போட்டு தந்தையே கொன்ற மதுரை சம்பவம் இதற்கு எடுத்துக்காட்டு. மதுரை மாவட்டத்தில் மட்டும் இது போன்ற பல கொலைகள் நடந்துள்ளதாக கூறப்படுகிறது. கள்ளக்காதல் தமிழகத்தில் வாரத்திற்கு ஒன்று என, கொலைக் கணக்கை உயர்த்தி வருகிறது. "கள்ளக்காதல்'கள், பெரும்பாலும் பணம் மற்றும் உடல் தேவையின் அடிப்படையில் தான் அமைகின்றன. ஆணோ, பெண்ணோ தனது இணையிடம் எதிர்பார்த்தது கிடைக்காதபோது, மற்றொருவரை நாடுகின்றனர். இதனால் "ஒருவனுக்கு ஒருத்தி' என்ற கோட்பாட்டுக்கு ஆபத்து ஏற்படுகிறது. வெளிநாட்டினர் கூட நம் கலாசாரத்தின் பெருமையை உணர்ந்து பின்பற்றத் துவங்கியுள்ள நிலையில், இங்குள்ளவர்கள் நம் கலாசாரத்தை சீர்குலைக்கும் வேலைகளில் இறங்குகின்றனர். 

தொழில்நுட்ப வளர்ச்சியால் ஐ.டி., துறையின் தாக்கம் அதிகரித்து, பெண்கள் அதிகளவில் பணிக்குச் செல்ல ஆரம்பித்துவிட்டனர். இருவருக்கும் பணிச்சுமையால் ஏற்படும் மன இறுக்கம், ஒருவரை ஒருவர் புரிந்துகொள்ளாதது, துணையின் தேவையை பூர்த்தி செய்ய மறுத்தல் போன்றவை தற்போதைய கள்ளக்காதல், தற்கொலை மற்றும் விவாகரத்து வழக்குகளுக்கு அடிப்படையாக உள்ளன. சில நேரங்களில் கள்ளக்காதல் விவகாரம் வெளியில் தெரிய வரும்போது, சிலர் நாசுக்காக பிரிந்து விடுகின்றனர். சிலர் கொலை செய்யும் அளவிற்கு துணிந்து விடுகின்றனர். சென்னையில் சமீப காலமாக இதுபோன்ற கொலைச் சம்பவங்கள் அதிகளவில் நடக்கின்றன.

வட சென்னையைச் சேர்ந்த மஞ்சுளா என்ற ஆசிரியை, தனது காலண்டரில் குறித்து வைத்து கள்ளக்காதல் புரிந்ததும், இறுதியில் முன்னாள் காதலனே அவரை குத்திக் கொன்ற சம்பவமும் நடந்தது. கள்ளக்காதல் கொலைகளைத் தொடர்ந்து, "செக்ஸ்' கொலைகளும் அதிகரித்துள்ளன. கொலை எதற்காக நடந்தது என்று பிரித்துப் பார்க்க முடியாத நிலையில், கள்ளக்காதலும், "செக்ஸ்' கொலைகளும் ஒன்றுக் கொன்று பிணைந்துள்ளன. இந்த வகையில், 2007ல் 123 கொலைகளும், 2008ல் 155 கொலைகளும், 2009ல் 217 கொலைகளும், 2010 ஜூலை வரை 195 கொலைகளும் பதிவாகியுள்ளன. தற்போது இது 200ஐ தாண்டியிருக்கும் என தெரிகிறது. இத்தகைய கொலைகளின் எண்ணிக்கை இந்தாண்டு, சென்னையில் அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

கொலைகளைக் கட்டுப்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்பது சமூக ஆர்வலர்களின் கோரிக்கை. அதற்கு, சமூகத்தில் மாற்றம் ஏற்பட வேண்டும். பணம் சம்பாதிப்பது மட்டுமே குறிக்கோள் என்று கருதாமல், வாழ்க்கையை மகிழ்ச்சியாக கொண்டு செல்வது எப்படி என்பதை தம்பதியர் புரிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும். கணவன், மனைவி இருவரும் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் குறை கூறிக் கொண்டிருப்பதை விட்டு விட்டு, மனம் விட்டுப் பேசி, ஒருமித்த வாழ்க்கை வாழ முற்படுவதே நல்லது.

உமாசங்கர் கிளப்பும் அடுத்த பூதம் ஜெயலலிதாவை சந்திப்பேன்!

'பறிக்கப்பட்ட பதவி திரும்பக் கிடைத்த பிறகும் அமைதி ஆகும் ரகம் அல்ல நான்' என்பதை நிரூபிக்கிறார் உமாசங்கர் ஐ.ஏ.எஸ்! 

சாதிச் சான்றிதழ் முறைகேடு, ஊழல் புகார் போன்ற குற்றச்சாட்டுகளால் இடைநீக்கம் செய்யப் பட்டவருக்கு, திடீரென்று பதவியை மீண்டும் கொடுத்து அதிர்ச்சியைக் கொடுத்தது அரசு. உடனே, சென்னைப் பத்திரிக்கையாளர் மன்றத்துக்கு குடும்பத்தோடு வந்து, 'என்னுடைய வழக்கை சட்டப்படி சந்திப்பேன்' என்று பகிரங்கமாக அறிவித்தார் உமாசங்கர். பொதுவாக, ஐ.ஏ.எஸ். அதிகாரிகள் இப்படி நடந்து கொள்வதில்லை. அடுத்த அதிர்ச்சியாக திருநெல்வேலிக்கு வந்து ஒரு பாராட்டு விழாவிலும் கலந்து கொண்டார். அதில் அவர் பேசிய பேச்சு ஆட்சியாளர்களை இன்னும் கடுப்பேற்றும் பச்சை மிளகாய் ரகம்!

மத்திய, மாநில எஸ்.சி., எஸ்.டி. ஊழியர் நல சங்கங்களின் சார் பாகவே உமாசங்கருக்கு இந்தப் பாராட்டு விழா கடந்த 14-ம் தேதி நடந்தது. தான் பிறந்த மாவட் டத்தில்நடக்கும் இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் அவர் என்ன பேசப்போகிறார் என்று பரபரப்பாக எதிர்பார்த்து, கூட்டம் நடந்த அரங்கம் நிரம்பி வழிந்தது. 

எஸ்.சி., எஸ்.டி. நல சங்கத்தின் மாவட்டத் தலைவர் அரிராம், ''நாங்கள் இதுவரை உங்களை ஓரமாக நின்று கவனித்து பெருமைப் பட்டோம். உங்களது அறிவும் தைரியமும் எங்களுக்கு ரொம்பவே பிடிக்கும். நீங்கள் தலித் மக்களின் அறிவுக் கருவூலம். இப்போது எங்களோடு நெருங்கிவிட்டதால்... இனி இந்த அரசு உங்களுக்கு என்ன இன்னலைத் தந்தாலும் மத்திய மாநில எஸ்.சி., எஸ்.டி. அமைப்புகளை ஒருங்கிணைத்து வீதிக்கு வந்து போராடுவோம்!'' என்று காட்டம் காட்டினார். அடுத்துப் பேசியவர்களும் அரசை கடுமையாக வறுத்து எடுத்தனர்.

அனைவர் பேச்சையும் உன்னிப்பாக கவனித்த உமாசங்கர் மைக் பிடித்தார். ''எனக்கு அநீதி இழைக்கப் பட்டதைக் கண்டதும், அதைத் தங்கள் சொந்த சகோ தரனுக்கு ஏற்பட்ட அநீதியாக நினைத்துப் போராடி வெற்றி பெற்று இருக்கிறீர்கள். சுயநலம் பார்க்காமல் போராடிய உங்களுக்குத்தான் உண்மையில் பாராட்டு விழா நடத்த வேண்டும்! எனக்கு எதற்கு? எனக்காகப் போராடிய உங்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரின் பாதம் தொட்டு நன்றியைக் காணிக்கையாக்குகிறேன்!'' என்று நெகிழ்ச்சியை வெளிப்படுத்தியவர், 

''நாடு முழுவதும் லஞ்சமும் ஊழலும் பெருகி விட்டன. பட்டியல் இனத்தவரான நம்மைப் பார்த்து, 'திறமை இல்லாதவர்கள், ஊழலுக்கு எளிதில் வசப்படுபவர்கள்' என்றெல்லாம் அவச் சொல் பேசுகிறார்கள். அதை மாற்ற வேண்டுமானால், நாம் ஒவ்வொருவரும் 'லஞ்சம் கொடுக்கவும் மாட்டோம், வாங்கவும் மாட்டோம்' என உறுதியேற்க வேண்டும். அப்படி இருந்தால்தான், எந்த விளைவையும் துணிவுடன் நின்று எதிர்கொள்ள முடியும். நான் சட்டப்படி இப்போதும் இந்துதான். ஆனால், இரண்டு வருடங்களுக்கு முன்பு கிறிஸ்துவத்துக்கு மாறிவிட்டேன். அது என் விருப்பம், உரிமை. அதை யாரும் கேள்வி கேட்க முடியாது. மதம் மாறியதால் மட்டும் சமூக அந்தஸ்து மாறிவிடாது. நீங்கள்கூட இப்படி மாறினால், ஞானஸ்நானம் எடுத்தாலும் அதற்கான சர்ட்டிஃபிகேட் வாங்காதீர்கள். எந்த ரெக்கார்டிலும் கையெழுத்துப் போடாதீர்கள். நீங்க பாஸ்டராவே இருந்தால்கூட, சட்டப்படி இந்துவாகவே இருங்கள்!'' என்று பள்ளிக்கூட மாணவர்களுக்குப் பாடம் நடத்துவதுபோல அவர் பேசியதைக் கூட்டத்தினர் உன்னிப்பாகக் கவனித்தனர்.

பத்திரிகையாளர்களிடம் மிகவும் கவனத்துடன் பேசிய உமாசங்கர், ''நான் சஸ்பெண்ட் செய்யப்பட்ட 43 நாட்களும் எந்தவித மன உளைச்சலும் இல்லாமல் ஓய்வாகத்தான் இருந்தேன். ஐ.ஏ.எஸ். அதிகாரிகள் சங்கம், நான் பாதிக்கப்பட்டபோது எனக்காக எந்தக் குரலும் கொடுக்கவில்லை. ஒருவேளை நான் ஐ.ஏ.எஸ். அதிகாரியே இல்லை என்று விட்டுவிட்டார்களோ என்னவோ! என்னை இந்த அரசாங்கம் தூக்கி எறிந்தபோது, பட்டியல் இனத்து சமுதாயம் என்னைத் தங்கள் சகோதரனாகப் பாவித்து அன்போடும் ஆதரவோடும் பூ போல என்னைக் கையில் எடுத்துக்கொண்டார்கள். இது வரை நான் அவர்களுக்காக எதையும் செய்யவில்லை. அவர்களில் பலர் என்னை நேரில்கூட பார்த்தது கிடையாது. ஆனால், உணர்வுரீதியாக எனக்காகக் குரல் கொடுத்த அவர்களுக்காக நானும் நிறையச் செய்வேன். சமுதாயப் பணியாற்றுவேன். அதை யாரும் தடுக்க முடியாது. கடந்த 20 வருடங்களாக என்னிடம் வருவதற்குத் தயக்கம் காட்டியவர்கள், இப்போது நெருங்கிவிட்டார்கள். இனி மேல் நான்கூட அவர்களைத் தடுக்க முடியாது. பட்டியல் இனத்து மக்களுக்கு ஒரு தங்கமான சகோதரன் கிடைத்துவிட்டான். எனக்கு ஆதரவாகப் பல அரசியல் கட்சியினரும் தொடர்ந்து பேசினார்கள். குறிப்பாக, ஈ.வி.கே.எஸ்.இளங்கோவன், ஜெயலலிதா போன்றவர்கள் தமிழகம் முழுவதும் பல கூட்டங்களில் பேசினார்கள். அவசியப்பட்டால்... அவர்களை நேரில் சந்தித்து நன்றி தெரிவிப்பேன்!'' என்று படபடத்தார்

"ஆளும் தி.மு.க. அரசின் மீதான அதிருப்திதான் மிக முக்கியக் காரணியாக இருக்கும். அபாரமாக அதிகரித்திருக்கும் விலைவாசி ஒரு காரணம். இதற்கு மத்திய அரசு மட்டுமே முழுக் காரணம் என்று பழி போட்டு மாநில அரசு தனது பொறுப்பைத் தட்டிக்கழித்துத் தப்பிவிட முடியாது. மத்திய அரசில் பல பதவிகள், பொறுப்புகளைக் கேட்டுப் பெற்ற தி.மு.க. அரசுக்கு மக்கள் நலன் சார்ந்த பிரச்னைகளிலும் அதே ஆர்வத்தைக் காட்ட வேண்டிய தார்மீகக் கடமை இருக்கிறது. விலைவாசியைத் தவிர்த்துப் பார்த்தால், கலைஞர் குடும்பத்தினரின் ஆதிக்கம், அனைத்துத் தரப்பிலும் மிகப் பரவலான அதிருப்தியைவிளைவித்து இருக்கிறது. 

திரைப்படத் துறையை முழுக்கவே ஜீரணம் செய்தாகிவிட்டது. ரியல் எஸ்டேட் பாதி விழுங்கப்பட்டு விட்டது. சேட்டிலைட் சேனல், கேபிள் டி.வி-க்கள்பற்றிச் சொல்லவே வேண்டாம். 'எங்கெங்கு காணினும்வாரிசு களடா!' என்ற நிலையால், மக்கள் எரிச்சலில் இருக் கிறார்கள். தவிர, மாநிலத்தின் பெரிய பிரச்னைகள் எதையும் இந்த அரசு தீர்த்ததாகத் தெரியவில்லை. இலவசங்களைத் தங்கள் சாதனைகள் என்று இவர்கள் தம்பட்டம் அடித்துக்கொள்ள முடியாது. 

குஜராத் தேர்தலில் என்ன நடந்தது? தி.மு.க. பாணியில் காங்கிரஸ் 'சகலமும் இலவசம்' என்று அறிவித்தது. ஆனால், நரேந்திர மோடி, 'மின்சாரக் கட்டணம் செலுத்தாதவர்களிடம் நான் கண்டிப்புடன் அதை வசூலிப்பேன்' என்று சொன்னார். அவர்தான் வென்றார். அங்கு மட்டும்தான் மக்களிடம் தெளிவு இருக்கிறது என்று சொல்ல முடியாது. அதே நிலை இங்கும் வந்தால் நிச்சயம் தி.மு.க-வின் நிலை திண்டாட்டம்தான். ஆனால், கூட்டணிக் கணக்குகள் எத்தகைய நிலையிலும் மாற்றத்தை உண்டாக்கலாம்... பார்ப்போம்!" 

 'ஆறாவது முறையாகவும் கலைஞர்தான் முதல்வர்' என்ற ஸ்டாலினின் பேச்சு..."

"வாய்ப்புகள் இருக்கின்றன என்றுதான் நினைக்கிறேன். ஏனென்றால், அ.தி.மு.க-வுக்கு உடனடித் தேவை ஒரு நல்ல கூட்டணித் தோழன். தனித்தனியாக நின்றால், அ.தி.மு.க-வுக்கு தி.மு.க-வைவிட அதிக வாக்குகள் கிடைக்கலாம். ஆனால், தி.மு.க. வலுவான கூட்டணியுடன் தேர்தல் களம் காணும். ஆகவே, அதுபோன்ற வலுவான ஒரு கூட்டணி அ.தி.மு.க-வுக்கும் வேண்டும். விஜயகாந்த்தைப் பொறுத்தவரை தே.மு.தி.க. வேட்பாளர் கள் கடந்த தேர்தல்களில் பற்பல இடங்களில் டெபாசிட்டை இழந்தனர். திடீர் வளர்ச்சி காண்பதற் கான வாய்ப்பும் அவர்கள் கட்சிக்கு இல்லை. இந்தச் சூழலை விஜயகாந்த்தும் உணர்ந்தே இருப்பார். இரு தரப்பினரின் இந்த தேவையைக் கருத்தில்கொண்டால், அவர்களுக்கு இடையில் ஒரு கூட்டணி அமைவதற்கான வாய்ப்பு இருக் கிறது!" 

"கோவை, திருச்சி எனச் செல்லும் இடங்களில் எல்லாம் ஜெயலலிதாவே எதிர்பார்க்காத கூட்டம் அலைமோதுகிறது. இதை எப்படி எடுத்துக்கொள்வது?"

"மூன்றாவது அணி அமைந்தால், அதற்குத் தலைமை தாங்கத் தயார் என்று தானாக அறிவித்திருக்கிறாரே ராமதாஸ்..." 

"ராமதாஸ் அப்படி ஒரு ரிஸ்க் எடுப்பார் என்று நான் நினைக்கவில்லை. அவர் அரசியல் அனுபவம் அதிகம் உள்ளவர். இரண்டு கழகங்களுள் நிச்சயம் ஏதேனும் ஒன்றின் பக்கம்தான் சாய்வார். மூன்றாவது அணி என்ற விஷப் பரீட்சையில் அவர் இறங்க மாட்டார். பா.ம.க-வுக்கு எனக் குறிப்பிட்ட சில தொகுதிகளில் வலுவான வாக்கு வங்கி இருக்கத்தான் செய்கிறது என்று கழகங்களுக்கும் தெரியும். எப்போதும் தன் கட்சியின் செல்வாக்கைக் காட்டிலும் அதிக இடங்களைத்தான் கேட்பார் ராமதாஸ். இந்தத் தேர்தலைப் பொறுத்தவரை, அப்படி வற்புறுத்தும் அளவுக்கு அவருடைய நிலைமை இருக்காது. மற்றபடி, அவர் வேண்டவே வேண்டாம் என்று கழகங்கள் முடிவெடுத்து ஒதுக்கிவிடும் என்று தோன்றவில்லை!"

"அ.தி.மு.க - விஜயகாந்த், தி.மு.க - விஜயகாந்த்... இதில் எது விஜயகாந்த்துக்கு மிக அதிக லாபம்?" 

"எனக்கென்னவோ, தி.மு.க - விஜயகாந்த் கூட்டணி அமைய வாய்ப்பு இல்லை என்றே தோன்றுகிறது. ஏனென்றால், தி.மு.க. கூட்டணியில் காங்கிரஸ் நீடிக்கும்பட்சத்தில், அங்கே விஜயகாந்த் கட்சிக்கு ஒதுக்க தி.மு.க-விடம் இடம் இருக்காது. விஜயகாந்த்தும் பெரிய ஆசையில் இருக்கிறார். அந்த நிலையில், தி.மு.க-வால் நிச்சயம் அவரது எதிர்பார்ப்பை ஈடு செய்ய முடியாது. ஒருவேளை, காங்கிரஸே தி.மு.க. கூட்டணியில் இல்லாவிட்டால், அது நிச்சயம் ஒரு பெரிய மாறுதல். அப்போது என்னவெல்லாம் நடக்கும் என்று என்னால் இப்போது நிச்சயமாகச் சொல்ல முடியாது!"

"காங்கிரஸ் தலைமை தன்னுடன் பலமான நட்புடன் இருப்பதாக நினைக்கிறார் கலைஞர். அதனால் இளங்கோவன் பேசுவதற்கு பப்ளிக்காக எதிர்ப்பு காட்டி அதற்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்க வேண்டாம் என்று நினைத்திருக்கலாம். ஆனாலும், அது அவரை உறுத்தாமல் இல்லை. அதனால்தான், அவ்வப்போது அதுபற்றிப் பேசுகிறார். விஜயகாந்த் சில சினிமா வசனங்களை வைத்துக்கொண்டு எம்.ஜி.ஆர். பாணியில் அரசியல் நடத்தலாம் என்று நினைக் கிறார். ஆனால், அதெல்லாம் வேலைக்கு ஆகாது. எம்.ஜி.ஆரை மற்றவர்கள்புகழப் புகழ... அது அ.தி.மு.க-வுக்குத்தான் லாபம்!"

and finite element simulations.

The W.M. Keck Institute for Space Studies at the California Institute of Technology announces an opportunity for highly qualified individuals to apply for postdoctoral fellowships to conduct research in space science and engineering.  The primary purpose of the Keck Institute for Space Studies (KISS) is to develop breakthrough planetary, Earth, and astrophysics space mission concepts and technology by bringing together a broad spectrum of scientists and engineers for sustained scientific and technical interaction.  The Keck Institute Fellowships will support outstanding recent postdoctoral scientists to conduct research that is broadly related to the goals of the Keck Institute for Space Studies and its funded study programs.

This program is open to applicants of any nationality who have earned (or will have earned) their doctoral degrees on or after January 1, 2008, in any discipline.   Awards will typically be for two years, starting in 2011, at an annual stipend of $60,000 plus benefits, and an additional allowance of $6,000 per year for travel and other research costs.  A one-time $4,000 relocation allowance is also provided. 'ஆர்ப்பாட்டமான' பொதுக்கூட்ட வரிசையில் அடுத்ததாக அவரின் டார்கெட்... மதுரை. தென் மண்டல தி.மு.க-வை அசுர பலத்தோடு வைத்திருக்கும் மு.க.அழகிரியின் கோட்டை இது என்பதால், இங்கே நடக்கும் யுத்தம் எப்படி இருக்கும் என்பதைக் கவனிக்க வட இந்திய மீடியாக்களும் சேர்ந்தே தயாராகி வருகின்றன.

''அமைச்சர்களும், சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினர்களும் பேசும் போது, நான் ஏழை எளிய மக்களுக்காகப் பல நல்ல காரியங் களை எல்லாம் செய்வதாக சொன்னார்கள். நாட்டின் 30 மாநிலங்களுக்கும் பொதுவான அமைச்சர் நான். ஆனால், அதை எல்லாம் விட்டுவிட்டு மதுரையை மட்டும்தான் சுற்றிக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறேன். ஏனென்றால், நிச்சயமாக இதுதான் என்னைக் காப்பாற்றப்போகிறது என்று எனக்குத் தெரியும். இன்று நான் மேடையில் நிற்கிறேன் என்றால்... அதற்குக் காரணம் இந்த மதுரை மண்ணுதான். எனக்குக் கிடைக்கும் மாலை மரியாதைக்குக் காரணமும் நீங்கள்தான். 'ராஜஸ்தான் போகலையா, ஜெய்ப்பூர் போகலையா, டெல்லி போகலையா?' என்று சிலர் கேட்கிறாங்க. 'நான் எதுக்குப் போகணும்? எனக்கு யாருய்யா ஓட்டு போட்டா-? அவங்களுக்குத்தானே செய்யணும்?'-னு சொல்வேன். இதற்கு, 'மற்ற பகுதிகளுக்கு நான் போக மாட்டேன்' என்று அர்த்தம் இல்லை. அங்கெல்லாம் போய் நல்லது செய்யத்தான் செய்கிறேன். ஆனாலும் அவர்களைவிட உங்களுக்குத்தான் அதிகம் செய்வேன்...'' என்று சொன்ன அழகிரி, அடுத்ததாக எதிர்பார்ப்பு மிக்க லோக்கல் அரசியலுக்கு வந்தார்...

''கலைஞர் பிறந்த நாள், அண்ணா பிறந்த நாள், என்னுடைய பிறந்த நாளின்போது மதுரை மாவட்டத்தில் கிட்டத்தட்ட 150 மருத்துவ முகாம்கள் நடத்தி இருக்கிறோம். கடைசியாக ஆண்டிபட்டியில் நடத்தினோம். 'ஏன் என்னுடைய தொகுதியில நடத்துறே-?' அப்படின்னு அந்தம்மா கேட்குது. 'நானே நடத்தியிருப்பேனே?' என்கிறது. நீ தொகுதிக்கு வந்தாத்தானேம்மா நடத்துவே? நீ ஒரு நாளாவது சட்டசபைக்கு வந்து, 'என் தொகுதிக்கு அதைச் செய்யுங்க, இதைச் செய்யுங்க'ன்னு கேட்டு இருக்கீங்களா? 

முன்னாள் முதல்-அமைச்சர் ஜெயலலிதாவை நான் மரியாதை யோடு கேட்கிறேன்... கலைஞரின் 87-வது பிறந்த நாளை முன்னிட்டு 8 ஆயிரத்து 700 பேருக்கு மருத்துவ சிகிச்சை அளித்தோம். ஆண்டி பட்டியில் வந்த நோயாளிகள் எல்லோருக்கும் ஹார்லிக்ஸ் டப்பா கொடுத்தோம்.. உடனே அந்தம்மா அறிக்கை விடுது... 'இந்த ஹார்லிக்ஸ் டப்பா எங்கே இருந்து வந்தது தெரியுமா? ஒரு தொழிற்சாலையில் இருந்து தென் மாவட்டத்துக்குக் கொண்டு செல்லப்பட்டபோது சோழவந்தான் அருகே ஒரு லாரியில் அழகிரி திருடி ஆண்டிபட்டியில் ஏழைகளுக்கு கொடுக்கிறார்' என்று சொல்லுது. ஒரு வாதத்துக்கு அப்படியே வெச்சிக்கிடுவோம். நான் திருடி யாருக்குக் கொடுத்தேன்? ஏழைகளுக்குத்தானே கொடுத்தேன்? உங்களுடைய தலைவர் எம்.ஜி.ஆர். 'திருடாதே' படத்தில், பணக்காரர்களிடம் திருடி ஏழைகளுக்குத்தானே கொடுத்தாரு? ஆனாலும் சொல்றேன்... நான் திருடவும் இல்லை, அந்த லாரியை கண்ணால் பார்க்கவும் இல்லை. நான் கொடுத்தது 200 கிராம் ஹார்லிக்ஸ் டப்பா. அந்தம்மா களவு போனதாகச் சொன்னது 500 கிராம் பாட்டில்!'' என்று அழகிரி அளித்த விளக்கத்தைக் கூட்டம் ரசித்தது!

மதுரையில் இருந்து ஜெயலலிதாவுக்கு அனுப்பப்படும் மிரட்டல் கடிதங்கள் குறித்து அடுத்ததாகப் பேசினார் அழகிரி... ''இப்போது எதுக்கெடுத்தாலும் போராட்டம் நடத்துது அந்தம்மா. இந்த மாசமே மதுரையில் போராட்டம் நடத்துவதாகச் சொல்லுச்சு. அப்புறம் தானா ஒரு லெட்டர் எழுதிப் போட்டுக்கிச்சு. 'மதுரைக்கு வந்தால், அழகிரி ஆட்கள் குண்டு போட்டுவிடுவார்கள் என்று

சொல்லுது...'' என்ற அழகிரி அடுத்தபடியா உதிர்த்த சிலேடையில் என்ன புரிந்ததோ... பெண் அமைச்சரான தமிழரசியும் சேர்ந்து அடக்க முடியாமல் சிரித்தார்! 

''திருப்பியும் அடுத்த மாசம் 18-ம் தேதி போராட்டம் என்கிறது அந்தம்மா. நடத்து... வேண்டாம்னு சொல்லலை. இப்பத்தானே வெளியிலேயே வர்றே. இத்தனை நாள் எங்கே போயிருந்தே? உன் தொகுதிக்காகப் பாடுபட்டியா? மக்களைப் பார்த்தியா? உன் கட்சிக்காரனையாவது பார்த்தியா? இந்த அம்மா கொடநாட்டில் இருந்து வந்தவுடன் ஒரே ஒரு நாள் பார்ட்டி ஆபீஸ§க்குப் போகுது. உடனே, 'பராசக்தியே வருக, தர்மத் தாயே வருக, புரட்சித் தாயே வருக...' என்று என்னென்னவோ போஸ்டர் அடிக்கிறாங்க. உன் கட்சிக்காரனைக் கேட்கிறேன்... 'கன்னித் தாயே'னு போஸ்டர் அடிக்க முடியுமா? இன்னும் நிறைய இருக்குது. நீ முதல்ல போராட்டம் நடத்திட்டுப் போ. அதுக்கு அப்புறமா அதுக்கெல்லாம் பதில் சொல்றோம்.!'' என்று காட்டமாகப் பேசி முடித்தார் அழகிரி.

'ஜெயலலிதா வருகைக்கு தி.மு.க. எப்படித் தயாராகிறது என்பதை பூடக மாகச் சொல்லிவிட்டார் அழகிரி' என்பதாகவே இருக்கிறது இப்போது தென் மாவட்ட எதிர்பார்ப்பு!

Full Time Professorship in Mechanics

We are looking for a person with an internationally recognized and proven record of research and publications in mechanics. The successful candidate will have proven experience with national and international bachelors and masters programmes such as those offered by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Dortmund. In particular, the ability to give courses in both German and English is essential. 

Of special interest are the research fields of material modeling, continuum mechanics, computational mechanics, and their applications to current challenges and problems in material technology and production engineering. The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering offers a number of possibilities for scientific cooperation in areas such as metal forming, machining, material characterization, or material technology. 

The successful candidate is expected to contribute actively to the ongoing development of the Institute of Mechanics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering as well as to the planned Center of Mechanics at the Technische Universitaet Dortmund. This latter represents an organizational basis for ongoing and future cooperative and interdisciplinary research and teaching activities. A willingness to take on and carry out duties related to faculty and university administration is also expected. 

The conditions of appointment to this position are in compliance with article § 36 of the University and College Act of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (§ 36 HG des Landes NRW) a university degree, a dissertation and additional scientific expertise, which has been achieved within an assistant professorship, a habilitation or activities adequate to a habilitation. எந்திரன் - ஒரு அலசல்

இதோ அனைவரும் ஆவலுடன் எதிர்பார்த்த எந்திரன் படத்தின் ட்ரெய்லர் வெளியிடு கோலாகலமாக நடந்து விட்டது. அப்படத்தின் ட்ரெய்லர் நம்  எதிர்பார்ப்பை பூர்த்தி செய்து விட்டதா!!!

தியேட்டர்களில் வெடி வெடித்துக்கொண்டிருந்ததையும், ரஜினிக்கு ப்ளெக்ஸ் பேனரில் பால் ஊத்திக்கொண்டிருந்ததையும், சன் டிவியின் உழியர்கள்அனைவரும் அனைவரையும் வற்புறுத்தி படத்தை பற்றி பேச வைப்பதை பார்த்தேன். அனைவரும் யாரையும் பகைத்து கொள்ள விரும்பாமல்  மிகவும் பாராட்டி விட்டு சென்றார்கள்.. ( ஒரு வேலை ஆள் வைத்து எழுதி குடுத்து படிக்கச் சொல்லி இருப்பார்கள் என் ஐய படுகிறேன்..)

கர்நாடகாவில் கிட்டத்தட்ட பத்துக்கோடிக்கும், ஆந்திராவில் 33 கோடிக்கும் மற்றும் மதுரை ஏரியாவை சுமார் பதிமுனு கோடிக்கும் படத்தை விற்றதாக செய்திகள் வந்திருந்தன. கண்டிப்பாக டிக்கெட் விலை சுமார் இருநூறில் இருந்து ஆயிரம் வரை விற்க படும். நம் மக்களும் தலைவர் படம், ஷங்கர் படம் என்று சொல்லி கொண்டு பார்க்க போகிறார்கள். இதனால் யாருக்கு என்ன லாபம்! ஒரு சிறு அல்ப சந்தோசம் நானும் முதல் நாள் பார்த்து விட்டேன் என்று...

அபிராமி ராமநாதன் சொன்னார் சென்னையில் மற்றும் சுமார் 30 நல்ல தியேட்டரில் படம் வெளியாக உள்ளது. இதில் நான் திருவான்மியூர், அம்பத்தூர் போன்ற ஏரியா சேர்க்க வில்லை. ஒரு நாளைக்கு சுமார் இருபது ஆயிரம் பேர் படத்தை  பார்ப்பார்கள். சென்னை மொத்தம் ஒரு கோடி பேர் இருபதாக அவர் சொன்னார். ஆனால், இதில் எத்தனை பேர் 120 ருபாய் குடுத்து படம் பார்ப்பார்கள் என தெரியவில்லை..

சரி  ட்ரெய்லர்க்கு வருவோம்..

தொழில் நுட்பம், பிரமாண்டம்,  உலக அழகி மற்றும் மேக்கப்புகளில் நம்ம சூப்பர்ஸ்டார் ரஜினி ரொம்ப அழகா இருக்கிறார் .ஆனால் இது போல ஒரு மொக்க ட்ரெய்லர் ஷங்கரிடம் இருந்து எதிர்பார்கவில்லை. இது முழுக்க முழுக்க என் தனிப்பட கருத்து. ட்ரெய்லர் பார்த்த அனைவரும் இது சில பல ஆங்கில படத்தின் காட்சி   தழுவல் என சொன்னார்கள்.. இருந்துட்டு போகட்டுமே, ரஜினி என்ற காந்த சக்தியால் இந்த படம் போட்ட பணத்தை விட லாபம் கொழிக்கும். அதில் சந்தேகமே இல்லை. ஆனால், ஒரு நடு நிலை ரசிகனுக்கு தேவையான எதிர்பார்ப்பை இந்த ட்ரெய்லர் பூர்த்தி செய்ததால் என்றால் இல்லை என்றே பதில்..  இந்த  ட்ரெய்லர் பார்த்து என் நண்பன் ராஜீவ் கைதட்டி சிரித்து கொண்டு இருந்தார் நேற்று இரவு சுமார் 11 .30 க்கு.. ரொம்ப நல்லா வந்தற்காக இல்லை என்பதை இங்கே தெரிவித்து கொள்ள விரும்பிகிறேன்.

எனக்கு  ரஜினி பிடிக்கும். அவர் நடித்த பாபா திரைபடத்தை நான் ஈரோடு அபிராமியில் முதல் நாள்  பார்த்து நொந்து வெந்து பொய் ஒரு வருடமும் எந்த தமிழ் படமும் பார்க்காமல் இருந்தேன். ஏன் இவ்வாறு நடந்தது என்றால், அந்த பாபா படத்திற்கு அவுங்க குடுத்த விளம்பரம். இப்பொழுது சன் குரூப் அதே போல் தான் விஷ பரிட்சையை நடத்தி கொண்டு இருக்கிறது. இதெல்லாம் ரஜினிக்கு தெரியாமல் இருக்குமா, இல்லை வழக்கம் போல் தெரிந்தும் பேசாமல் இருப்பாரோ?  ஒரு காலத்தில் மிக சொற்ப  படத்தை மட்டுமே பார்த்த நான் இன்று அனைத்து மொக்கை படத்தையும் பார்கிறேன்..

என் ஆதங்கம்   இவ்வளவு பெரிய புகழ், பணம் சேர்ந்த பின்னாடியும் நடிப்புக்கு தீனி போடற படங்களை செய்யாம என் இது போல நடிக்க ஓகே சொல்லுரருனு தெரில..அவர் சொன்னது போல், நான் எந்த படத்திலும் நடிக்க ரெடி ஆனால்  யோசித்து கதை எழுதி சொல்லுங்க.. நான் எந்த அளவுக்கு முடியுமோ அவ்வளவு சிறப்பாக நடித்து கொடுக்கிறேன்.. எல்லோரையும் எல்லா விசயத்திலும் திருப்தி படுத்த முடியாது.  என நம் ஜனநாயக நாட்டில் வாழ்ந்து கொண்டு இருக்கிறோம்...ஒத்துகொள்கிறேன் ...

இன்னும் இரண்டு வாரத்தில் படம் வந்து விடும்.. பார்க்கலாம் எப்படி இருக்கிறது என்று...

பாஸ் என்கிற பாஸ்கரன் - “நண்பேண்டா”

எனக்கு என்னத்த எழுதுரனே தெரில. ஏன்  என்றால் எதுவுமே ஞாபகத்தில் இல்லை. படம் அந்த மாதரி வேகமா போகிறது. இடைவேளைக்கு அப்புறம் ஒரு சின்ன தொய்வு இருந்தாலும் படம் முடிகையில் கை தட்டி சிரிச்சு மகிழ்தேன்.

உதயநிதி ஸ்டாலினின் "ரெட் ஜெயண்ட் " வெளியீடு. சிவா மனசுல சக்தி என்கிற ஒரு  நல்ல படத்தை  எடுத்த எம்.ராஜேஷ் இயக்கி இருக்கிறார். இந்த படத்தை தயாரித்தவர் ஆர்யானு நினைக்குறேன். படத்தின் டிரைலரிலேயே கொஞ்சம் எதிர்பார்ப்பை எகிற விதம் படம் பாஸ் என்கிற பாஸ்கரன்.

படத்தோட ஆரம்பத்துல ஆர்யா அரிவால எடுத்துகிட்டு வில்லன தொறத்துவார். அதுக்கு கடைசில ஏன்னு காமிச்சு இருப்பாங்க. சான்சே இல்ல.  

ஆர்யா, நிறைய அரியர்கள் வைத்திருக்கும், வேலைவெட்டியில்லாத, இளைஞன். கல்யாணமாகாத வெட்டினரி டாக்டரான 35 வயது அண்ணன், காம்பியரர் மாடுலேஷனில் பேசி அலையும் தங்கை, மற்றும் அவரின் அம்மா என்கிற மிடில் கிளாஸ் குடும்பம. அவரின் நண்பன் சந்தானம், சலூன் கடை வைத்திருப்பவர். இவருக்கு பார்த்த மாத்திரத்தில் காலேஜ் லெக்சரரான நயன் மேல் காதல் வேறு வந்து தொலைத்துவிடுகிறது.  அவருடைய அண்ணனுக்கும் விஜயலட்சுமிக்கும் கல்யாணம் நடக்கிறது. விஜியின் தங்கை நயன்தாரா, ஏற்கனவே இரண்டு பேருக்கும் நல்ல அறிமுகம்.அண்ணியிடம் பெண் கேட்க சொல்லும் போது, அண்ணி ஒண்ணுமில்லாத வெட்டிபயலுக்கு யார் பெண் தருவார்கள்? என்று கேட்க, அதனால் கோபித்துக் கொண்டு வீட்டை விட்டு வெளியேறும் போது, தன் தங்கை கல்யாணத்தையும்,  தன் காதலையும் ஜெயித்து காட்டிவிட்டுதான் வீட்டிற்கு வருவேன் என்று சவால் விட்டுவிட்டு வெளியேறுகிறார். அவர் ஜெயித்தாரா? இல்லையா? என்பதே பாஸ் என்கிற பாஸ்கரன் திரைபடத்தின் கதை சுருக்கம்.

சந்தானம் தான் படத்தை தூக்கி நிறுத்துவது. சந்தானத்தின் ஒவ்வொரு வார்த்தை மற்றும் அவரின் குரல், முக பாவனையை பார்த்தல் ஒரே  சிரிப்பு சிரிப்பா வருகிறது  .  ஆர்யாவை அனைவரும் கிடைக்குற ரீல் முழுவதும் ஒட்டு ஒட்டு என ஒட்டி எடுகிறார்கள் . சிவா மனசுல சக்தி திரைப்படத்தில் ஆர்யா சிறப்பு தோற்றத்தில் வந்த மாதிரி, இந்த படத்தில் ஜீவா வருகிறார், கடைசி பத்து நிமிடங்களுக்கு. ஆனால், ஜீவா சூப்பரா பண்ணி இருக்காரு. அதவும் ஒரு சண்டைக்கு தேவையான பில்ட் பண்ணி அதை வேறு விதமா இயக்குனர் கையாண்டு இருக்கிறாரு. அதிலும் அவரே போன் பண்ணி நீ சிறப்பு பாத்திரம் சும்மா சண்டை எல்லாம் போடா கூடாது. அவுங்கள சேர்த்து வையுன்னு சொல்லுற இடம் மிக அருமை.

பரீட்சைக்கு பிட் எழுதுவதும் அந்த பிட்டுக்கெல்லாம் ஒரு மாஸ்டர் டாகுமென்ட் எழுதுவதும் நயனிடம் மாட்டிக் கொள்வதும் என ஆரம்பத்தில் இருந்தே படம் டாப் கியரில் கிளம்புகிறது.நயன் pardon என்று சொல்வதை சந்தானம் அவர் பாடேன் என்ற அர்த்தத்தில் சொல்லுவதாக ஆர்யாவிடம் சொல்ல ஆர்யாவும் அதை நம்பி நயன் அடுத்த முறை pardon என்று சொல்லும்போது ஆர்யா ' தீப்பிடிக்க' பாடலைப் பாடும் இடம் செம ரகளை.

எக்சாம் ஹாலில் ஒரு வயதான நபர் ஆர்யாவிடம் “பாஸ் பண்ணி தொலைச்சிடாதீங்க, தனி மரம் ஆகிடுவேன்,என்பதும் வினாத்தாளை கொத்தாகக்கொடுத்து லெக்சரர் நயன் “பாஸ் பண்ணுங்க” என்றதும் ,”டிரை பண்றேன் மேடம் எனும்போது டைரக்டர் திரைக்கதை வெளி படுகிறது . 

ஆர்யா நடிப்பில் அசத்துகிறார். காமெடியும் இயல்பாய் வருகிறது.ஹீரோயின் நயன்தாரா க்ளோஸ் ஷொட்ல வயதான மாதரி தெரியுது . தலதளபதி" சந்தானம் சொல்லவே இல்ல. படம் முழுக்க நக்கல் பண்ணி சிரிப்பு உண்டு பண்ணி  இருக்காரு. இசை யுவன். "யார் அந்த பெண் தான்" பாட்டு மற்றும் பின்னணி ஓசை ஓகே.

என்னக்கு  நினைவில் உள்ள சில நல்ல காமெடி காட்சிகள் :

 மேடம் ,24 மணி நேரமும் செல்ஃபோன்ல ஃப்ரீயா பேசனும்,அதுக்கு என்ன ஸ்கீம் இருக்கு?
24 மணி நேரமுமா?அதுக்கு நேர்லயே போய் பேசிக்கலாமே? 

அலைபாயுதே மாதவன் மாடுலேஷன்ல பேசச்சொன்னா உன்னை யார் அரண்மனைக்கிளி ராஜ்கிரண் மாதிரி பேசச்சொன்னது? 

மார்க்கட்டிங்க் வேலைக்கு போறியா? அது நாய் பொழைப்புடா மச்சான்.பிழைப்பே இல்லாம தண்டமா இருக்கறதுக்கு நாய்ப்பிழைப்பு எவ்வளவோ மேல்.

கமல், ரஜினி, பரத் எல்லோர் திரை படத்தின் காட்சிகளை தேவை உள்ள இடத்தில நன்றாக பயன்படுத்தி, அதனை திரைகதையில் நல்ல சாமர்த்தியத்தில் கொண்டு வந்து உள்ளார் ராஜேஷ்.

நண்பர்களே, சிவா மனசுல சக்தி பிடிச்சவங்களுக்கு இந்த படமும் பிடிக்கும். லாஜிக், அது இதுன்னு யார் யோசித்தாலும் இந்த படத்தை பார்க்க வேண்டாம்.  எந்த ஒரு ஆபாசம், வன்முறை இல்லாத நல்ல படம்.
